During 2011 Fashion Sussex was invited to provide the All Party Parliamentary Group for Design & Manufacturing, an entry into the UK’s manufacturing map that would inspire young designers into manufacturing. Fashion entries from across the UK included hat manufacturing from Wales, suitings from Huddersfield, hand embroiderers from Oxford Circus London, lace manufacturing, including part used in the Duchess of Cambridge wedding dress 2011. Hove & Portslade’s entry included Olympic inspired fashion designer prints and clothing ready to celebrate London 2012 and the Torch Relay at Hove 16 July 2012.  Read more > Made by Britain Blogspot
