14 businesses celebrated their new status across Sussex last year when they won The Sussex Fashions 2011.
Our Fashion Awards 2012 have been handpicked with care, reflecting the very essence of the fashion industry currently in Sussex, its offerings, its design, manufacturing, retailing, Etailing, and export capacity.
The Awards include nominations from all product sectors including women’s wear, accessories, resort wear, dancewear, menswear, footwear, formalwear, and more …
We’ve specifically introduced a new Childrens Year Award 2012 and Sportwear Award 2012 to reflect this very special Olympic Year and The London Games 2012 whilst repositioned our Best Place to Shop Award 2012 and Ambassador Award 2012.
With a strong focus on British design and manufacturing being featured throughout the UK this year co-inciding with The London Games 2012 opportunities, even better if products or services are designed and Made in Great Britain.

Tips to get your business in shape now ready for judging
The Sussex Fashion awards are looking for great online presence from our Sussex businesses to capture the maximum exposure from the largest events taking place in Great Britain and also maximise sales from post marketing during 2013.
Only one nomination is required to be made online, but is your business ready to be judged by professionals?
Stage one of the competition – judging from looking at the business online.
- Is your business website looking fantastic and with up-to-the-minute copy and designs?
- Does your business have full trading contact details available online?
- Is your business engaging with its customers – using social media?
- Has your business a marketing plan and schedule for 2012?
- Has your business media coverage planned and already achieved?
- Has your business customer testimonials about your services on your website?
- Has your business organised any events to participate in and for your customers?
- So whats new about your business for judges to look at online?
Just some of the many aspects judges will be glancing over when the nominations close during June 2012.
Stage two of the competition - those businesses judged to go through to stage two will be invited to present a short summary of their business to the judges.

How do I nominate?
Simply click on the link at the bottom of the page and this will take you to the online voting page. Only one vote is required for each award nominee.
How much does it cost to nominate?
This year, as a charity, we are making a small nominal charge and costs £25.00 to make a nomination or £50 for three nominations for 3 different awards. There are easy instructions on filling out the online nomination form below >
How many times do I need to be nominated?
Only one nomination is needed to ensure your favourite business or individual is put forward for consideration.
How long will the voting remain open for?
Voting opened over Christmas 2011 and will close during late May 2012.
What happens then?
A shorlist of nominees will be announced and judges over the summer 2012 will make their decisions.
Is my nomination acknowledged?
Your nominee will be informed and provided with a file of marketing material they can use during 2012. So the sooner you nominate them, the sooner they can start marketing themselves and know they have been successfully nominated.
How do I pay?
The online voting form will take you to a secure payment area where you can make payment by most credit/debit cards.
When are the finals held?
The Award nominations closed late May 2012 when the judges took over and made their decisions being announced September 2012.
